Overview Executive Assistant to the Co-Founder, COO at Distyl . The role provides critical operational and administrative support in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities Executive Support : Manage the COO’s complex and dynamic calendar, coordinate meetings and cross-functional sessions, prepare materials and agendas, and handle travel arrangements and expense reporting.
Operational & Administrative Support : Act as a strategic partner to drive prioritization, build and optimize systems to improve operational excellence, track strategic priorities, surface blockers, and ensure follow-through across teams; anticipate needs and provide leverage through effective time management and preparation; synthesize insights from multiple workstreams to keep the COO focused on the highest-impact areas.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications) 5+ years of experience supporting a C-level executive, ideally in a startup, operations, or high-growth environment.
Proven ability to manage complex schedules, competing priorities, and highly confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage professionally across all levels of the organization.
Highly resourceful and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and stay several steps ahead.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools such as G Suite, Slack, Notion, project management platforms, and expense systems.
Calm under pressure, adaptable to shifting priorities, and solutions-oriented.
Based in New York City, with flexibility for occasional travel to company offsites, meetings, or events.

Note: Distyl is a hybrid working environment and requires in-office collaboration 3 days per week in one of our offices. We have offices in New York City and San Francisco.
