Accounting Supervisor Job at Robert Half in Corona

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Corona, California. This role is ideal for a meticulous individual with a strong background in accounting within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will oversee essential financial operations and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures. Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure proper accounting practices.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
• Conduct month-end close procedures and provide timely financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in a manufacturing environment - MUST HAVE
• Proficiency in month-end close processes, including journal entries and general ledger management.
• Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices and standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
