Security Officer - CRE Patrol Specialist

Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a dynamic commercial real estate location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and perform security-related checks as required by site-specific guidelines. Document and report incidents, observations, and/or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal protocols. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or tenants within the commercial real estate environment. Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal. Minimum Requirements
You must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. You must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
