Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and a Certified Great Place to Work. **Contingent upon successful contract award to ASRC Federal** we are currently seeking a Network Engineer Level IV to work in San Antonio, TX. Oversees and participates in the design, testing, upgrade and integration of new or existing information networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VoIP, intranets, extranets). Documents all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of networks. Coordinates changes such as implementation of new networks, upgrades or version increments. Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures to safeguard new and existing networks. Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning. Coordinates with architecture and evaluates new and emerging network technologies, making recommendations for product selection. Assists network administrators with complex troubleshooting issues and, if needed, coordinates vendor engagements. May provide day?to?day operational or administrative duties for deployed networks in lab or production environments. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high?impact assignments. Works with other senior technical and user staff to complete projects. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. Level IV performs more independent thinking and complex tasks with little or no supervision compared to a Level III, and may supervise others.

Certification: at least one of the following Cisco Certified Network Associate Security, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), GIAC Security Essentials, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP). Upper?level or expert professional?level certificate for supported technology, as approved by the COR. Eight (8) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency. Masters degree and/or equivalency. U.S. Citizen and SECRET clearance required. Candidate will undergo a government background investigation and meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
