Job Highlights Are you a strategic HR professional passionate about driving organizational success through people? St. Joseph Hospital – St. Charles is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement integrated HR strategies that support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Summary Develops and implements integrated Human Resources strategies to support achievement of operating goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic advisor to department leaders, aligning HR practices with business goals.

Guide employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.

Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, patient satisfaction, and workforce development.

Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. Support the rollout of HR programs, communications, and organizational initiatives.

Partner with leaders to identify and address barriers to achieving operational objectives.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education

Experience

Three years' experience

Healthcare experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

Rare climbing.
