Sr. SAP OTC Solution Architect – 100% Remote
Remote work location – Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level.
Responsibilities
Collaborate in development and articulation of strong value propositions for transformational initiatives/innovations from process SME and S/4HANA perspectives.
Apply strong knowledge of business processes for design, development, and testing of S/4HANA functions associated with business operations.
Review and/or perform design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA systems to meet client business requirements.
Lead and guide the preparation and release of support‑workshop documentation to engage and explain SAP S/4HANA best practices and customer industry processes.
Ensure the end‑to‑end Order to Cash value stream, including RFP handling, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, cost management, legal contract management, operational contract management, sales order management, invoice management, and accounts receivable.
Qualifications
Experience as a Workstream/Team Lead for a US deployment of an SAP S/4HANA global design with localization in the US.
Experience as an Order to Cash work stream lead for a Commercial Aerospace & Defense Manufacturer at Senior Consultant level.
Specific SAP module configuration and deployment experience: Lead Management, Master Data (Lead Management), Operational Contract Management, Sales & Distribution (SD), Project Systems (PS), Resource‑Related Billing (cost collection & billing WBS elements), Proposals, Contract Management (government & commercial), Contract Line Items (CLINs), and Pricing Conditions.
Familiarity with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
Experience with SD, PS, Contract Lifecycle Management in a complex OEM Aviation, Aerospace & Defense manufacturer (preferred); experience in Automotive or Industrial Products (e.g., Caterpillar, John Deere) is also applicable.
Ability to define, understand, and correlate Customer transformation North Stars in the overall design of the Order to Cash value stream.
Experience leading customers, system integrators, and SAP team members toward a Standard Aerospace Ecosystem in the Order to Cash area.
Expertise in managing SAP FIORI standard applications.
Experience with third‑party aerospace SAP S/4HANA bolt‑ons (Dassian, iCertis).
Familiarity with the SAP Roadmap for the O2C work stream and ability to define a target end‑state and transitional plan within the context of a customer project portfolio.
Maintain a forward‑looking vision for how customers drive the most value from existing SAP software investments.
Identify relevant blind spots and provide targeted PoV/recommendations to mitigate impact on SAP’s simplification list.
