Quinnipiac University invites applications for the Assistant Athletic Director, Marketing & Fan Engagement. This role will work with the marketing and strategic partnership team to navigate the fast-paced environment of athletic marketing to help build the Quinnipiac Athletics brand. The position supports the marketing efforts of Quinnipiac's intercollegiate athletic programs. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, the Assistant Athletic Director will promote Quinnipiac's 21 Division I intercollegiate programs, develop and implement innovative marketing strategies, enhance the fan experience, and engage students, alumni, and the greater community in support of Bobcat Athletics. Develop and direct annual marketing/promotional campaigns to promote attendance and ticket sales at home athletic events, with a primary focus on hockey and basketball. Fulfill corporate sponsorship components to enhance game presentation and community partnerships. Assist box office with group sales initiatives and ticket-driven promotions. Create and implement the overall advertising plan, paid social campaigns, and branding efforts; coordinate with our Ad Agency and QU MarCom Department. Serve as primary point of contact with the Office of Student Affairs to increase student involvement in athletic events; design on-campus marketing initiatives to raise student attendance. Develop student promotions, giveaways, and in-game contests to enhance the game-day experience. Direct oversight of athletic spirit groups (e.g., Pep Band, IceCats, Sideline Cheer). Coordinate with Athletic Communications to utilize social media to engage fans and students. Establish special events and coordinate game-day promotional activities; coordinate community and on-campus events to support ticket marketing and promotional initiatives. Work in compliance with NCAA, MAAC, and ECAC rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in sports marketing and event management at the collegiate level, developing and executing marketing plans and in-game promotions Experience at a NCAA Division I institution or professional sports organization is highly desired Significant skill in computer software and social media platforms Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations Demonstrated organizational and creative skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds Special Instructions to Applicants
