Overview The Senior Special Events Manager leads the planning, execution, and evaluation of a broad portfolio of high-impact organizational and philanthropic events for the organization. These include the annual Gala, First Chair stewardship event, concert receptions, donor dinners, house parties, other donor engagement events, salons, and more.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of a broad portfolio of events (e.g., annual Gala, donor engagement events, salons, donor dinners, house parties, and related activities).

Manage project timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and on-site event operations to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define event goals, messaging, and donor outreach strategies.

Qualifications

Expert-level project management and event production skills.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5 years of nonprofit or corporate event planning experience, including 3+ years managing gala or comparable high-level donor events.
