Electrical / Systems Engineering (RADAR) - Early Career
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (RADAR Systems). The successful candidate will contribute to design, analysis, testing, and requirements verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The position requires experience and/or knowledge of Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare, Kalman Filtering, Signal Processing, or Model Based Systems Engineering. This position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.
Responsibilities
Contribute to design, analysis, testing, and requirements verification of AESA radar systems.
Apply knowledge of Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare, Kalman Filtering, Signal Processing, or Model Based Systems Engineering.
Basic Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or Physics from an accredited college or university.
College coursework in Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare, Kalman Filtering, Signal Processing, or Model Based Systems Engineering.
Demonstrated ability with C++, MATLAB or Python.
Willing to travel.
Desired Skills
Experience in one or more of the following areas: radar control algorithms; modeling and simulation; predictive data filtering techniques (e.g., Kalman filters); and signal processing/image processing.
Experience performing trades studies, requirements development and analysis, derivation, allocation, and documentation, engineering design and development, software development processes and Systems and software modeling.
Familiarity with design tools and environments for radar systems and subsystems for performance analysis and modeling.
Familiarity with computer architectures and algorithm development for system/subsystem applications.
Familiarity with Project Management / Earned Value.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
