Nationwide’s Investments team seeks an Investment Professional focused on Structured Products and Fund Finance. The team manages capital with a client-focused approach, emphasizing investment discipline and teamwork. The role focuses on supporting research, trading and portfolio management across fixed income portfolios, including asset-backed securities (ABS), CMBS, RMBS and CLOs. Key Responsibilities

Support Portfolio Manager in research, trading and portfolio management activities. Collaborate with the portfolio manager to identify executable and suitable market opportunities. Assist in transaction analysis including participants, collateral, borrower, structure, deal documents and relative value scenario analysis. Assist in portfolio surveillance, identify emerging investment risks and help develop risk mitigation actions. Portfolio performance attribution analysis. Perform ad-hoc projects, reporting and analysis as requested. Collaborate with other departments regarding relative value, sector analysis, asset class dynamics and portfolio matters. Drive the creation of streamlined reporting and portfolio reports as needed. Lead data management and maintenance. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree and/or CFA desirable. 6 to 10 years of investment experience. Solid understanding of fixed income and financial concepts; knowledge of economics and capital markets. Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. High energy, positive attitude, collaborative and team-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to build constructive relationships. Experience with portfolio research, structuring and modeling; statistical data analysis and related programming skills. Knowledge of insurance statutory accounting and regulatory frameworks. Experience with the Fund Finance sector (subscription lines, rated feeders, CFOs, credit ABLs, NAV facilities) and familiarity with private equity, private debt and securitization markets are preferred. Open to candidates with 4–6 years of experience. Additional Information

This role does not qualify for employer sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program. The position will be hired on a SuccessFlex basis. The associate must reside within 35 miles of Columbus, OH (One Nationwide Plaza, Columbus OH 43215). Work schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Estimated work conditions: normal office environment; some travel may be required. Background check may be required due to fiduciary accountabilities.
