Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plumbers Apprentice with expertise in No Hub, plumbing installation, branch lines, shower lines, gas lines, copper plumbing, and cast iron plumbing. Knowledge in brazing and soldering copper pipes, as well as working with PVC and PEX, is essential. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining drain lines, shower lines, sewer lines, gas lines, and septic lines and working under the direction of a foreman or mechanic.
Responsibilities
Install and repair plumbing systems including branch lines, shower lines, gas lines, and copper plumbing.
Perform brazing and soldering of copper pipes.
Work with various plumbing materials such as PVC, PEX, and cast iron.
Maintain and repair sewer and drain lines.
Work under the direction of a mechanic or foreman.
Essential Skills
Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Plumbing Helper/Apprentice
OSHA 30 certification.
SST 10 certification.

Work Environment Work is based in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx, requiring travel by car or public transportation. The work environment is highly productive, with strict attendance and performance expectations. Teamwork is essential, and all members must be open to feedback and maintain a positive attitude. The role requires working a morning shift starting between 6am-8am with overtime available. You must have your own tools, PPE, and be prepared to treat your work with precision and care, as if it were artwork.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, New York.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
