Cog Railway Facilities and Parking Manager
Pay Rate: $56,500-$58,000/annual salary.

As a member of the Cog Railway Team, this position manages and coordinates all activities of parking and facilities management by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

What you will be doing
Manage all functions related to parking and facilities. Facilities include but are not limited to: depot, maintenance shop, Incline Base Camp and on and off-site parking lots
Manage all parking operations, including scheduling and parking of on-site lot, offloading and onloading shuttle buses, receiving shipments, and managing schedules and shuttles for off-site lots
Manage the basic maintenance of all facilities at the depot, parking areas (on and off site) and passenger platforms at the Railway
Manage the snow removal process of the parking lot, sidewalks and platforms at the depot, ensuring daily operations are not hindered or impacted
Manage the cleanliness of all facilities, bathrooms, public spaces and grounds at the Cog Railway
Maintain inventory of parking and facilities tools, supplies, and equipment
Manage maintenance of company vehicles and heavy equipment
Manage training of employees in the use of company vehicles and heavy equipment
Ensure all budgetary guidelines are met in the Parking and Facilities Departments
Plan and coordinate facilities and parking projects with outside contractors
Ensure projects are completed to specifications, on time and on budget
Supervise and train direct reports
Manage and participate in the interview and hiring process for employees within jurisdiction
Review employees on performance and discipline employees when required.
Be responsible for and have oversight of emergent situations involving the parking lot and facilities.
Perform other duties as required.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

What we are looking for
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Three years of management and supervision experience preferably in the railroad, hospitality or attractions industry preferred.
Experience and desire to work and live remotely with the ability to problem solve independently.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Must be able to operate a company vehicle, and ALL snow removal vehicles and machinery,
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee’s work environment includes frequent contact with road traffic. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet, snow and ice conditions. The employee will regularly be at altitudes between 6,500 feet and 14,115 feet above sea level. At these altitudes the employee may experience decreased oxygen levels, extreme cold, extreme heat and rapid changes in weather conditions without warning. The employee may work around electricity with risk of electrical shock.
Work schedule Weekends and holidays required, some night and early morning work may be required. Workload is seasonable with peak work coming in the summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
