Base pay range: $38,560.00–$55,490.00 per year. Hybrid Work Arrangement
Three days per week in the office, two days remote. Responsibilities
Utilize and expand electrical drafting skills in a multidisciplinary team environment. Apply computer-aided drafting skills, receiving training in 3D design software such as AutoCAD 3D and/or MicroStation. Create master sketches to scale showing the relation of proposed installations to existing facilities, with exact specifications and dimensions. Accompany experienced designers on walkdowns at client facilities to gather information for design projects. Interface with vendors and construction contractors, explaining drawings and making design adjustments when necessary. Qualifications
Associate’s Degree with emphasis in electrical drafting or high school diploma plus one or more years of drafting coursework or equivalent technical experience. Basic knowledge of standard computer drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or MicroStation). Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of a computer. Ability to multi-task across projects. Preferred Skills
Associate’s Degree in Computer Aided Design. Experience using AutoCAD and MicroStation software. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for production of technical plans, drawings, and models. Knowledge of engineering science and technology, relating equipment to technical design.
