Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - 1099
Entune Behavioral Health offers outpatient behavioral health services for children and adults in multiple clinics throughout Arizona. We provide couples and family therapy, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management services.
This role is for an independent contractor (1099) in Tucson and the Phoenix metro area, providing both telehealth and in‑person services.
Role and Responsibilities
Counsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns.
Documents items such as chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment, and plan.
Formulates diagnostic and treatment plans.
Assists with oversight of therapist intakes as applicable based on insurance requirements.
Prescribes and administers medications, therapies, and procedures.
Orders labs and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow‑up.
Completes integrated healthcare referrals internally and externally as requested and as medically necessary.
Coordinates care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services.
Attends interdisciplinary team meetings and provides consultation as applicable.
Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner (within 48 hours) in the electronic health record.
Maintains quality of care standards as defined by the practice.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license.
Current and unrestricted DEA certificate.
Current CPR, AED, First Aid, and DPS fingerprint clearance card certifications.
Effective communication skills.
Travel as needed between Tucson and Phoenix metro clinics.
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
Initiative, creativity, problem‑solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Pay rate is DOE.
