The Brand Design & Multimedia Lead is SFBU\'s creative cornerstone—responsible for bringing the university\'s visual identity to life across digital, print, and multimedia channels. This role ensures that all assets reflect SFBU\'s brand voice, accessibility standards, and storytelling goals. The role reports to the Digital Marketing and Analytics Manager and combines design expertise with production efficiency to deliver high‑quality content that strengthens SFBU\'s brand and supports strategic initiatives. Design & Brand Stewardship
Design brand‑consistent assets across print, digital, social media, presentations, and event collateral. Maintain SFBU\'s visual identity system; manage brand toolkits, templates, and style guides. Uphold accessibility standards, including contrast, typography, and alternative text. Identify opportunities for design innovation and storytelling impact.
Multimedia Production
Produce short‑form video, motion graphics, and basic photo/video editing for campaigns and social content. Support event coverage and creative documentation through photo/video capture and editing. Coordinate with external vendors and creative partners for large‑scale or specialized production (e.g., animation, video shoots, or illustration).
Workflow & Collaboration
Collaborate with the Editorial & Operations team to manage design intake, prioritization, and delivery schedules. Partner with the Event Marketing Specialist to ensure cohesive design across events, campaigns, and digital activations. Oversee print production, proofing, and quality assurance for physical materials and signage.

Required: Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (portfolio required). 5+ years of professional design experience across print and digital. Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects). Familiarity with Figma, Canva, or similar collaborative design platforms. Strong understanding of brand systems, accessibility standards, and print/digital production workflows. Excellent organizational and time management skills; detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven. Preferred: Experience in higher education, mission‑driven, or nonprofit settings. Proficiency in photography, video capture, and audio editing. Experience managing freelancers, vendors, or creative agencies. Work Environment & Physical Demands
Primarily office‑based with hybrid flexibility. Some evening or weekend work may be required for events or production deadlines. Physical requirements include lifting up to 20 lbs and extended periods of computer use. Application Process
