Role Summary:
Responsible for the physical assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical control panels. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Read electrical schematics and dimensioned layout drawings. Dimensionally layout back panels and externally mounted devices. Mount devices to back panels and enclosures using a variety of methods, including drilling and tapping steel. Point-to-point wiring of internal panel components such as PLCs, relays, motor starters, reduced voltage starters, and VFDs. Use digital multi-meter to check work to ensure error-free products. Setup, test and ship finished control panels. Read, interpret, work from electrical schematics, layout drawings, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, etc. Perform quality checks on products and parts. Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area. Work with minimal supervision once work assignments are given and explained. Ask questions to obtain sufficient instruction to perform assigned tasks. Travel to the job site (if necessary) to modify control panels, provide warranty support or generally assist in any outside duties as required. Other duties as assigned by management. About ESSCO

Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school in Electrical or Electronic Technology; or 2-3 years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualifications:

Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Mathematical Skills:
Must be able to perform basic mathematical equations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, use of whole numbers, and percentage and decimals. Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office Software (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet software. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Must have a valid driver’s license and no points Equipment Operated:
