Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based therapy team. Under the supervision of a licensed SLP, the SLPA will help implement individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapy services, and support students in developing their communication skills. Key Responsibilities
Carry out treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings. Collect and record student progress data. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the therapy team to reinforce goals in the classroom environment. Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations under the direction of the supervising SLP. Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field). Active SLPA license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain before start date). School-based or pediatric experience preferred, not required.
