Description MaineHealth Pen Bay & Waldo Hospitals in beautiful coastal Maine are currently seeking an Otolaryngologist to join the regional team. The position will serve a diverse patient population, treating hearing loss, balance disorders, snoring, and sleep apnea from children to adults.
The role offers a mix of outpatient and operating room time, seeing patients in the office and performing surgery as needed. Otolaryngologists work collaboratively with the audiology team to provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy for pediatric sleep apnea, snoring, and chronic infections.
Medical and surgical treatment for chronic otitis media, otitis externa, and middle ear fluid.
Endoscopic sinus surgery and medical management for patients with refractory sinus infections.
Nasal and palate surgery for nasal obstruction, sleep apnea, and snoring.
Evaluation and management of sudden and gradual hearing loss, vertigo, and tinnitus.

Qualifications
MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
Board certification or eligibility.
Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
EMR experience preferred.
