Overview
Fixed Income Electronic Trading Business Analyst. This role is onsite in Midtown NYC 5 days a week with potential for some remote work. The project is a greenfield effort to enhance the electronic trading offering within Fixed Income, working closely with fixed income trading business teams in London and Spain to build a new eTrading system to replace an existing vendor system. The project is sponsored at high levels within the business. Responsibilities
Work closely with business sponsors to elicit requirements to deliver project milestones Document requirements in Jira and structure them into epics, user stories and tasks Explain requirements to the development team and collaborate to deliver features Perform UAT testing of newly developed features Collaborate with partner technology teams and coordinate effectively Potential to line-manage developers, DevOps and QA resources and to coordinate hiring and onboarding of new team members Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field, or substantial practical experience in software delivery at an advanced level Deep product knowledge of rates or credit products (ideally both) Detailed knowledge of the D2C and D2C eTrading workflows in the Fixed Income market Experience as a hands-on business analyst within a front-office development team for an investment bank Energetic, motivated and determined; pragmatic and results-oriented; adaptable to diverse responsibilities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; productive and able to manage time effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Desirable
Experience working in an agile development team Experience of managing IT projects Benefits and Notices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
