Account Executive at Playground, responsible for driving new business and expanding our customer base. You will manage the entire sales cycle, focusing on closing deals with qualified leads passed from the SDR team. The role requires a self-starter with a proven B2B SaaS sales track record and a player-coach mindset, mentoring junior team members. This position is fully in-office at our Denver office. What You'll Do

Closing Deals: Take ownership of qualified leads passed by the SDR team, guiding them through the final stages of the sales process to close. Sales Process Management: Own and manage the entire closing process, from discovery through contract negotiation and closing; develop and execute strategic closing techniques to meet revenue targets. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with prospects and clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions. Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and customer success to refine messaging, improve the sales process, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate CRM records, provide regular updates to management, and contribute to sales forecasting and planning. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge to position offerings effectively. Mentorship: Act as a player-coach, engaging in sales activities while mentoring junior team members. What You Need

Proven Sales Experience: 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas; experience in early childcare is a plus. Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of SaaS products and ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Customer-Centric: Ability to understand customer needs and provide consultative sales advice that leads to outcomes. Results-Driven: Self-motivated and high-performance oriented. Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting and negotiating with senior decision-makers. Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to a positive team culture with accountability. Adaptable: Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to pivot quickly. Player-Coach Mentality: Natural leader who balances personal sales with mentorship of junior team members. Compensation

OTE for this position is $165,000 subject to standard withholdings and taxes. Salary is a guideline and may be modified based on qualifications, experience, market demands, and location. Why Join Playground
