Senior Tax Analyst
to join their high-performing corporate tax team. This role offers a blend of
technical ASC 740 work, financial reporting exposure, and project-based tax strategy , making it an ideal next step for tax professionals with strong public accounting or corporate experience. About the Role
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you’ll be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax computations, returns, and provisions while supporting the company’s income tax accounting and financial reporting processes. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and audit teams and play a key role in ensuring compliance and accuracy across all tax-related functions. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings, including sales & use, property, and payroll taxes. Calculate and review income tax provisions under
ASC 740 , including interim effective tax rates, deferred taxes, and return-to-provision adjustments. Assist with financial modeling and forecasting for tax planning, acquisitions, and ad hoc scenarios. Research and document technical accounting positions related to uncertain tax positions and valuation allowances. Support quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures related to income taxes. Monitor emerging tax law and accounting developments (GAAP and SEC-related) for potential financial impact. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with tax reporting and internal controls. Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned. Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree
in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MST strongly preferred). 6+ years
of progressive tax experience (public accounting or large corporate environment). Strong technical understanding of
ASC 740
and U.S. GAAP. Proven ability to prepare and review complex tax provisions and financial statement disclosures. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills and experience with major tax software (e.g., OneSource, CorpTax, or similar). Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-tax stakeholders. Why This Opportunity
