The facility in Austin, Texas provides precision machining and mechanical assembly services, including vertical and horizontal milling, turning on materials such as aluminum, copper, composites, stainless, titanium, and high alloy steel, with a milling envelope up to 60" x 50" x 40". The plant specializes in high-mix, low-volume production and offers subassembly, integration, New Product Introduction services, and clean room assembly. The Plant Controller will be based in Austin and will be responsible for all financial aspects of plant operations.
Job Purpose
The Plant Controller will be responsible for all financial aspects of plant operations including financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, and financial control systems, and will support Plant Management in the plant’s operations. The Plant Controller, with other Plant Management, will own achieving the plant’s performance metrics including Revenue, Gross Profit & Margin, Inventory Turns, etc.
Responsibilities Provide advice and counsel to plant operating management to ensure optimum plant performance.
Collect and interpret financial data to influence management decisions aligned with company objectives.
Identify and implement programs that control financial risk as directed by the Division Controller and Corporate Accounting.
Review and analyze financial information with Plant Managers to drive profitability.
Prepare and submit month-end close and management reports in a timely manner.
Prepare financial projections and plant status reports for divisional and corporate management; coordinate discussions on financial matters with plant and division management.
Develop and implement systems to control manufacturing operation costs and monitor product lines and customer profitability.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills BS in Accounting or Finance.
5-7 years of Cost Accounting/Plant Controller experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent organizational skills and time management.
Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder; ITAR facility requires eligibility to work in the US.
CMA/CPA preferred.
Specific Skills/Experience Desired Experience in Contract Electronics Manufacturing, Electronics Hardware Manufacturing, or Machining and Assembly industries; experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range (annual): $110,000 - $150,000. Actual base pay determined at offer based on experience, education, certifications, and skills. Total rewards include health and life insurance, savings plan, PTO, holidays, and possible stock unit awards and discretionary bonus where applicable.
