Overview
The accountant will be responsible for daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and assisting with monthly financial reporting. This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, supports internal controls, and coordinates with the HQ team for reporting and documentation. Responsibilities
Daily Tasks Review and process payment requests and supporting documents. Match bills with purchase orders and receipts. Maintain and organize digital files for all accounting documents. Communicate with vendors and internal departments on invoice or payment status. Weekly Tasks Prepare and update AP aging reports. Review open bills and pending payments for management approval. Update and reconcile bank transactions in QuickBooks. Follow up with vendors on overdue items. Monthly Tasks Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations. Assist in month-end closing: posting journal entries, accruals, and expense allocations. Review and verify financial data for accuracy and completeness. Support preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for HQ. Reconcile intercompany accounts and balances. Additional Responsibilities Maintain insurance records and other compliance documentation. Assist audit or tax document preparation as needed. Assist the Accounting Manager with special projects and reporting. Continuously identify process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of accounting experience (preferably in a manufacturing or trading company). Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. Bilingual (English/Chinese) preferred for HQ coordination. Work Style
