$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr . Responsibilities

Meet with hotel management to discuss current issues, ongoing projects, and budgetary items. Exercise discretion and independent judgement on significant issues and plans for the hotel assigned. Join the Hotel Management team and apply knowledge of hotel applications and systems to maintain uptime, availability, and performance. Consult with on-site customers on technical support issues, including software and equipment requirements. Make independent decisions and recommendations. Create VLANs, port assignments, wireless network design (SSIDs and subnets). Manage and troubleshoot Internet service for hotels. Perform basic switching, firewall, and wireless configuration and troubleshooting. Install, configure, troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches and related technologies. Install, configure, troubleshoot routers for internal routing, ISP connectivity, and MPLS deployment. Manage and troubleshoot firewalls (content filtering rules, IPS/IDS rules, access lists). Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot business and enterprise wireless solutions. Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot cloud-based networking solutions (virtual networks, site-to-site connectivity, virtual firewalls, routing tables). Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot servers (including virtualization with Microsoft and VMware hypervisors). Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot storage systems (including NAS, iSCSI, and fiber-connected systems). Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot domain controllers, file servers, print servers, application servers, and remote access servers. Manage Microsoft 365 and Entra – account creation, license assignment, etc.; manage local Active Directory (accounts, permissions, DNS, GPO). Troubleshoot hotel systems and applications (PMS, POS, Keys, Central Reservations, Credit Cards, Energy Management, etc.) and manage PMS interfaces and some DB administration. Create and manage ongoing technical site documentation. Provide troubleshooting of server OS and hardware; create new virtual servers as requested by vendors. Independently perform file/server restoration from nightly backups; assist with UPS testing and generator transfer with hotel engineering staff. Communicate effectively and provide exceptional customer service to the hotel portfolio. Lift up to 50 lbs., pull cables, tie wires, crawl on floors to reach equipment, and load equipment. Qualifications

Advanced working knowledge in the following technologies: Microsoft Operating Systems; Microsoft Server 2012 – present Workstation/server hardware; peripheral devices including printers and scanners Routers, switches, and firewalls; cloud and virtualization technologies Client/server applications; Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure AD, Intune/Endpoint Manager) Azure IaaS and Azure Virtual Desktop; email security and filtering solutions Modern file projects and migrations; Windows Server 2012 – present; Exchange 2010 – present Wireshark, NMAP, SNMP monitoring (desirable); Visio for documentation (desirable) VoIP knowledge; UC deployments including VLAN support, routing, and QoS (support duties) Preferred knowledge: Hospitality-driven applications (POS, PMS, Keys, Sales & Marketing Systems) PCI compliance; DHCP, DNS, and IP protocol expertise Pay and Benefits

This is a full-time position located onsite in the United States. Estimated starting salary range:
