We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CADD Drafter with a minimum of
10 years of experience
in civil engineering design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in
AutoCAD
and
OpenRoads Designer , with a strong understanding of roadway, drainage, and utility design workflows. Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed
civil engineering drawings
and design layouts for transportation, site development, and infrastructure projects. Develop
plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction details
using AutoCAD and OpenRoads. Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and consistency. Review and update drawings to reflect design changes and project requirements. Maintain CAD standards, templates, and project documentation. Assist with quantity takeoffs, plan production, and file management. Ensure all drawings comply with client, agency, and company standards. Qualifications
10+ years of CADD drafting experience
in a civil engineering or transportation design environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
and
InRoads
and/or
OpenRoads Designer (ORD) . Strong understanding of civil infrastructure design principles , including grading, roadways, and drainage. Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and redlines. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, design technology, or related field. Benefits
