At CACI, we provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) services for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). Our goal is to enhance warfighting readiness by increasing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of all current and future TIGS SoS.
The Opportunity Join our team as a RAM Engineer to support the TIGS SoS by performing reliability and maintainability analysis, preparing FMECA, FMECAs, generating reliability growth curves, and maintaining RAM deliverables throughout the engineering life cycle.
Responsibilities
Prepare reliability and maintainability predictions and assessments based on design changes using the latest MIL‑HDBK‑472 methods.
Evaluate maintainability requirements focusing on cost drivers, warranties, predictions, and data item submittals.
Prepare and deliver Failure Summary and Analysis Reports, including reliability growth curves.
Update existing FMECAs or create new FMECAs to reflect engineering design changes.
Support Monthly Failure Review Boards to discuss failure data, trends, root cause analysis, and cost drivers.
Collaborate with the Product Support Manager to identify and address failure root causes and corrective actions across the supply chain.
Prepare and deliver Reliability Improvement Analyses when reliability or obsolescence modifications are identified and approved.
Work collaboratively across all program stakeholders to optimize system spares, standardization, provisioning, logistics support, interoperability, reliability, and maintainability.
Qualifications Required:
Active TS clearance with SCI preferred; ability to obtain SCI.
BS in Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years performing complex systems engineering analyses for DoD systems.
Familiarity with MIL‑HDBK‑472 and/or experience preparing RAM customer deliverables (e.g., FMECA, FSAR).
Excellent work habits and communication skills.
Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) techniques.
Desired:
Experience designing, developing, or sustaining complex embedded systems within a DoD environment.
Experience supporting RAM activities across the engineering lifecycle with emphasis on improved availability and cost reduction.
Experience establishing parts management programs per MIL‑STD‑11991.
Pay Range $90,300 - $189,600
