Job Description Valentine Environmental Engineers, LLC is looking for a full-time Water/Wastewater Junior Project Engineer, with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, based in our Phoenix office.

This position entails engineering design and construction administration services related to potable water, reclaimed water, and wastewater infrastructure/ treatment plants. Projects will have a focus on treatment process optimization, pumping and transmission systems, utility infrastructure, treatment plant hydraulics, permitting compliance, and funding assistance.

This is a full time, in office position.

Qualifications Education and Experience:

Interest in water and wastewater systems design and construction, and permitting

1 to 3 years of relevant work experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering

Masters of Science in a related field a plus (not required)

Must have EIT (Engineer in Training) license

Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Ability to learn construction technology software i.e. Procore, and Microsoft Office

Familiarity with safety rules, regulations, best practices and QA/QC performance standards

Prior Water & Wastewater knowledge or work experience

Registration

Registered as an Engineer in Training in the State of Arizona or California

Interpersonal Skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to work closely with team members and collaborate with clients

Self-starter, ability to work independently when needed
