Job Overview A part‑time Lecturer position is available in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences (DEPHS) at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. DEPHS plays a critical role in advancing not only environmental, occupational, and public health education. As a lecturer, this position will teach scholarly and other professional or creative activities in the Environmental and Industrial Hygiene program, while supporting the University’s mission and commitment to excellence.

Essential Functions

Conduct and teach assigned graduate‑level courses.

Attend meetings, participate in governance, and prepare teaching materials.

Evaluate and develop curriculum for the department and/or college.

Minimum Requirements

Appropriate academic graduate and/or terminal degree related to health and safety expertise (e.g., PhD, MS, EdD).

Extensive experience in ergonomics, safety, and industrial hygiene assessments in actual occupational facilities.

Evidence of industrial contacts who will allow on‑site walkthroughs and health and safety assessments.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
