AV/IT Technical Support Technician Boston, MA (Contract, Onsite 5x/Week)
This role is key in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT and AV operations, keeping systems reliable and users supported. Base pay range
$28.00/hr - $33.00/hr Responsibilities Configure, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft Surface Hubs, Crestron devices, and Microsoft Teams Rooms Provide hands?on support for PCs, Macs, applications, printers, and network connectivity Manage ticketing requests (ServiceNow or similar) and adhere to SLAs Support meeting rooms, events, and AV equipment (speakers, cameras, monitors/kiosks) Perform asset management (shipping, receiving, tracking, lifecycle management) Provide VIP/White Glove support as needed Assist with occasional off?site events, travel, and after?hours support
Qualifications
2+ years of on?site technical support experience or degree in Computer Science/related discipline Hands?on experience with Surface Hubs, Crestron, and Microsoft Teams Rooms Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, O365) Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware/software/network issues Excellent communication, organization, and customer?service skills
Preferred Experience
Exposure to technologies such as Condeco, Barco ClickShare, Pano, Polycom, and Cisco Prior AV event or meeting support experience
