Responsibilities
Interview prospective residents and record information to ascertain needs and qualifications, inputting data into the computer.
Accompany prospects to model apartments and discuss size and layout of rooms, available facilities such as swimming pool, location of shopping centers and freeways, services available, and lease terms.
Qualify prospective residents, verifying applications, lease documents and related paperwork, updating records as necessary.
Complete lease forms or agreements and collect rental deposit and application fee.
Introduce residents to apartment/property procedures.
Promote positive, proactive resident relations, working to make the living experience the highest quality.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Effective listening and communication skills and ability to work well on a team.
Must be able to work weekends.
Salary and Benefits Salary range is $22.00-$26.00/hour. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees working between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
