Job Title: Production Lead
Job Description
The Production Lead is integral in managing the Pack Out department, ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating the team. This role involves overseeing approximately eight production employees and requires active participation in daily tasks. Responsibilities Load and unload HPP torpedoes. Stand bottles up on conveyors. Operate the Jet Coder to date bottles and packaging. Pre-build boxes and bring in fiber/packaging materials for the lines. Perform general labor related to bottling, HPP, packaging, and pack out processes. Engage in labor activities related to shipping, receiving, and inventory. Build pallets, lift, and move/stack cases up to 50 lbs. Assist with pre-shifts, stretches, and passdowns. Ensure carriers are full to conserve water. Complete monthly safety tailgates. Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Oversee and direct team productivity goals through daily meetups. Ensure accurate completion of HPP forms and track Pack Out documentation.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Lead with direct reports. Ability to assess training needs and develop relevant content. Capability to work well under time constraints and prioritize work. Experience working cross-functionally with other departments. Ability to work independently with moderate supervision. Adaptability to changing production schedules and orders. Strong communication skills with leadership and coaching abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Computer skills are essential (experience with NetSuite is a plus). Forklift certification is a plus.
