Phlebotomist II – Chicago, IL Base Pay Range: $24.50/hr – $25.00/hr

Location: Chicago, IL 60636 Chicago, IL 60629

Shift Schedules:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday (Rotating): 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Rotating Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $25/hour

Key Responsibilities

Perform all phlebotomy and specimen collection duties accurately and efficiently.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling of all specimens in the patient’s presence.

Collect quality blood specimens from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric.

Process specimens following established procedures and maintain required documentation.

Deliver accurate, error‑free work in a fast‑paced setting.

Strong phlebotomy skills across pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on‑call duties, and overtime as needed.

Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable).

Proficiency in computer systems and data entry.

Handle multiple priorities in a high‑volume environment.

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience – required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

Note:

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
