Senior AI/ML Engineer (Data Science & Automation)
to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML and automation solutions that enhance sustainability, efficiency, and decision intelligence. This role blends deep technical expertise with leadership, mentorship, and a strong focus on production impact.
Essential Functions
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ML architectures for production environments.
Develop and deploy machine learning and generative AI models that drive measurable operational improvements.
Build workflow automation solutions (APIs, UiPath, Power Automate) that improve efficiency and accuracy.
Integrate models into cloud‑based production systems (Azure ML, Databricks, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI).
Apply modern ML techniques, including NLP, deep learning, and predictive analytics.
Partner with business and technical leaders to identify and prioritize high‑value AI/ML opportunities.
Define standards for data architecture, ML operations (MLOps), and model governance.
Champion best practices for responsible and ethical AI in sustainability‑focused operations.
Mentor and coach junior data scientists and engineers, promoting excellence and innovation.
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred).
Experience Qualifications
7+ years of experience in data science, AI/ML engineering, or applied machine learning.
Proven success developing and maintaining production ML models with measurable impact.
Hands‑on expertise in deep learning, NLP, generative AI, and/or computer vision.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and pipeline orchestration (Databricks, Airflow, or similar).
Prior exposure to sustainability, logistics, or enterprise operations is a plus.
Skills And Abilities
Expert in Python and leading ML frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Deep understanding of ML principles: supervised/unsupervised learning, deep and reinforcement learning, model evaluation.
Familiar with workflow automation tools (UiPath, Power Automate, APIs).
Strong communicator and mentor with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable insights.
Builds scalable, production‑ready ML systems and fosters collaboration across teams.
Operates effectively as both a builder and coach, driving continuous improvement.
