Overview
We are currently seeking a Consumables Manufacturing Technician for Octet. In this role, you will prepare and stage for production, follow all Standard Operating Procedures, and use ERP system to open, issue materials, and close production Work Orders. You will also provide support to other functions within Operations. What you will accomplish together with us
Perform hands-on consumables manufacturing according to Standard Operating Procedures and Batch Records for all platforms Stage and prepare for production, which includes lot number assignment, printing of batch records and labels Perform reagent filling and Biosensor production Utilize laboratory equipment, such as pipets, balances, reagent filling machines Perform final packaging of products after Qualification Release Use ERP system to open, issue materials, and close production Work Orders Perform cycle counts and inventory management of raw materials and in-process inventory Perform Preventive Maintenance and maintain calibration of equipment used in Operations Support other Operation departments, as needed Learn new processes from New Product Introduction, as needed What will convince us
High school diploma/GED; Certificate or diploma in Life Sciences is a plus. 2+ years of experience in related field Comfortable handling acetone, ethanol, anhydrous ether and aluminum grits used in grinding surfaces. Dilution experience is a plus. Experience of working in a technical manufacturing, production or assembly environment Knowledge in mechanical assembly techniques Understanding of mechanical fault finding Ability to communicate at all levels Good knowledge of quality, cost, efficiency and safety Demonstrated experience with laboratory equipment, such as pipets and balances Demonstrate experience with SOPs and inventory control Able to work 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $27 - $30 per hour depending upon experience and qualifications.
