Information Systems Security Officer Sr
role. The team is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of information systems. Location: Orlando, FL. Active Secret clearance required to start. What You Will Be Doing
Oversee day-to-day information system security operations Carry out technical administration of information systems in accordance with internal and customer security requirements, primarily RMF Upkeep, monitoring, analyzing, and responding to network and security events Document compliance actions with the ISSM to address non-compliance within the allotted time frame Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices Basic Qualifications
Secret Clearance with Investigation within 5 years Security+ or equivalent DoD Directive 8570/8140 Information Assurance Management Level II Ability to author SSPs and maintain authorizations to operate (ATO) Ability to perform technical certifications for systems being presented to the government for authorization Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact information system security Desired Skills
Experience with NISPOM, RMF, DAAPM and JSIG certification and accreditation processes Experience working with classified information systems DoD Directive 8570/8140 Information Assurance Management Level III Experience in an SAP/SCI/Collateral environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with cognizant security agencies, customers and senior management Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment Prior ISSO or DoD equivalent experience in a similarly sized organization Understanding of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices (e.g., TACLANE) and cybersecurity tools (DISA STIG/SCAP) Knowledge of government/contractor network interconnectivity Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education/experience (7 years professional experience; or 5 years with related Master’s), with ongoing learning EEO
