We are looking for a Microbiologist to join NJ Labs. The role involves ensuring integrity of test results by following the Quality Manual and related procedures. Role and Responsibilities

Understand and apply established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures to perform daily objectives. Demonstrate proficiency in aseptic technique and test method validation, with strong background in pharmaceutical cGMP practices. Perform basic microbiological procedures per USP, FDA/BAM, Modified FDA/BAM, and Standard Methods testing. Conduct USP Microbiological examinations of non‑sterile products, including Burkholderia cepacia complex (Bcc) and microbial enumeration tests. Perform USP tests for specified microorganisms in non‑sterile products and nutritional/dietary supplements. Carry out antimicrobial effectiveness testing, biological indicator viable spore counts, microbial identifications, and suitability of test methods. Participate in validation/equivalency studies of the Soleris NG system (Rapid Micro) and other related testing. Maintain quality control laboratory monitoring and conduct toxicity testing, Listeria testing, and growth promotion testing. Other related microbiological testing tasks as required. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field. At least 5 to 10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory. Proficient in aseptic technique. Strong background in pharmaceutical cGMPs. Ability to read, understand and apply established protocols and SOPs. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

Work a minimum of 40 hours a week over 5 days; additional hours may be required to meet deadlines. No travel required. Wear proper protective equipment. May be exposed to loud sounds, hazardous conditions, contaminants, and noise levels. Work in close proximity to others in the laboratory. Sit or stand for extended periods; may need to lift objects up to 25 pounds. Repetitive tasks with few breaks. Benefits

Salary range: $50,000–$60,000 per year. Note:
