Position Details

Start Date: ASAP for the 25/26 school year

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Grade Levels: Early Childhood; paid mileage between locations

Compensation: Starting at $47/hour (commensurate with experience)

Location: 100% On-Site

Sign-on Bonus: $1000 for full-time staff; available by December 19th (paid before the holidays). Ask for details!

Pay Details: Competitive pay; includes Non-Taxable pay for providers living over 50 miles from the district

What We Seek

Position Type: Traveler/Local On-Site School Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Augusta, GA; on-site position

Availability: Start by December 19th

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students\' speech, language, and communication abilities

Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students\' needs

Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students\' communication goals

Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions

Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed

Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information in a timely manner

Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students\' speech and language needs

Qualifications

Master\'s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Current ASHA certification required

Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting

Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with students, parents, and school staff

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Knowledge of AAC systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy (preferred)
