Develop, implement, and maintain CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency Oversee the population, maintenance, and ongoing updates of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Identify and implement improvements to CMDB processes and workflows Develop and maintain CMDB reports and dashboards to track data quality and usage Collaborate with IT teams to understand their CMDB data needs and communicate best practices What is Required
Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance 10+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may substitute for 5 years of experience) Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT service management, focusing on configuration management and CMDB administration Proven experience with CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Micro Focus Universal CMDB) Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, databases) How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with IT automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for data quality and accuracy Customer-focused and results-oriented mindset Continuous learner with a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest IT service management trends #InformationTechnology #DefenseServices #CareerOpportunity #CompetitivePay #ProfessionalDevelopment We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
