Role Purpose

Designs, and coordinates implementation, analysis, testing and debugging of complex integration, workflows, and configurations within Epic & other Clinical applications. Works with Epic applications and toolsets including but not limited to Hyperdrive, Kuiper, Satellite, SystemPulse, and numerous other Epic applications. Applies understanding of the technical components of the application system to maintain system integrity. Thorough application of a broad range of technical knowledge and skills including leadership, project management, and communication, position is responsible or delivering process and technical improvements which yield maximum service responsiveness, high quality information management tools and cost effective business solutions. Epic or applicable certifications will be required within 6 months of hire. Responsibilities

Provides technical expertise to enable the configuration of system components and equipment for systems testing. Collaborates with technical teams to develop and agree system integration plans and report on progress. Defines complex/new integration builds. Ensures that integration test environments are correctly configured. Designs, verifies, documents, amends and refactors complex software configurations for deployment. Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered outcomes. Selects appropriate testing approach, including manual and automated testing. Collaborates across parties involved in product, systems or service design and development to enable comprehensive test coverage. Identifies improvements in requirements, design or specification processes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing. Reviews system software updates and identifies those that merit action. Investigates and resolves system software problems, requesting action from supplier if required. Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services. Determines problem fixes and remedies. May be part of an after-hours on-call rotation.
