Location: Bensenville, IL (Chicago Area) Job Title: eCommerce Specialist Reports to: VP of Sales eCommerce Overview: As an eCommerce Specialist, you are responsible for executing daily e-commerce activities, creating compelling content, and optimizing product listings to boost client product visibility. Your attention to brand integrity, issue resolution, and collaboration with diverse teams contributes to a smooth and effective e-commerce operation, enhancing both online sales and the relevance of product content through strategic optimization of digital assets. Your main focus is ensuring accuracy, maintaining up-to-date product information, and ensuring overall brand consistency across various e-commerce platforms. Duties & Responsibilities

E-commerce Operations

Manage daily e-commerce activities, including product marketing assets, item setup, back-end portal updates, and adherence to deadlines. Drive client revenue growth through efficient management of e-commerce processes. Content Creation

Boost online visibility and market share by ensuring that content is appealing, accurate, and up to date content. Optimize product content for search engines (SEO) to improve product visibility. Create compelling and engaging product descriptions, titles, and other content elements. Collaborate with eCommerce team to develop visual content such as images, videos, and infographics. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all product content. Content Editing and Proofreading

Review and edit product content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Conduct proofreading to eliminate spelling and grammatical errors. Platform Monitoring

Monitor platform processes and adapt to new requirements to maintain optimal performance. Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with the E-commerce team and clients to ensure all touchpoints are met and maintain seamless communication for efficient day-to-day operations. Collaborate with clients to gather product details, specifications, and imagery. Security and Confidentiality

Uphold the security and confidentiality of client documents and data. Brand Integrity

Ensure the integrity of the client\'s brand story in all updates, including images, copy, video, etc. Resolve all product listing issues, including buy box suppression, missing content, technical glitches, etc. Reporting and Auditing

Generate monthly reports through retailer portals and perform audits by client to identify areas for improvement. SEO and Advertising

Create SEO copy, support and understand ad management goals, implement, and execute social advertising. Marketing Vision

Contribute to the development and execution of the overall marketing vision for Creeden. Manage email campaigns, website content, social media, and other marketing channels. Keep up with industry and platform changes, remain in line with e-commerce trends, and contribute to the development of strategies to address emerging issues. Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow within the eCommerce department. Travel

Attending trade shows for Creeden trade show support, industry events, traveling to customer corporate office, etc. (~up to 10%). Product Knowledge - Develops and maintains vast knowledge of the products and services being offered. eCommerce Platform Proficiency – Familiarity with the specific e-commerce platforms used by the organization: Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, Lowe’s Vendor Gateway, Walmart Retail Link/Luminate and Home Depot Supplier Hub. Communication – Strong written and verbal communication. Teamwork – Collaborative team-player with exhibited ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. It is critical for this role that members work together to achieve goals as a team, encourage teamwork and have good conflict resolution skills. Professionalism – We expect our associates to project a high level of professionalism and business etiquette including a professional appearance and communication style. MS Office – Must be proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Photoshop & Canva – Proficiency in both Photoshop & Canva or similar programs. SEO & Advertising – Strong understanding of SEO principles and social advertising. Education/Experience A bachelor’s degree in marketing/business administration/digital marketing/communications is preferred; however, we will consider candidates with 2-4 years of equivalent experience in e-commerce operations and content creation.
