Sepulveda Law Group is seeking a Junior Attorney - Litigation, Personal Injury. This is an in-office, full-time position. Handle personal injury case files from start to finish Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents Research case law and premises liability; gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case (preferred experience with Westlaw) Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information Negotiate suitable agreements and settlements on behalf of clients Make court appearances at hearings and trials; attend mediations, depositions, and litigation throughout the State of California Document and update the status of all case files in case management systems Manage a team of paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, and a legal secretary Track work calendar, including appointment and court deadlines pursuant to the California Code of Civil Procedure Calculate costs and compensation totals to support drafting settlement breakdowns presented to clients and insurance providers Qualifications
