Tax Principal / Senior Manager – W3Global
We are a growing CPA firm based in Wakefield, MA, seeking experienced tax managers to join our full‑time team. Our clients range from publicly held corporations to closely held businesses across diverse industries. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of accounting experience, a CPA licence, and a proven record of building and maintaining client relationships while delivering high‑quality tax services.
Responsibilities
Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards.
Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and firm resources.
Work directly with clients to build and maintain relationships.
Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and tax work papers.
Conduct tax research projects and provide solutions.
Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status, client opportunities and matters.
Provide training, direction, and supervision to team members.
Maintain technical expertise in various tax areas related to industry specialization.
Build new client relationships while maintaining existing ones.
Manage book of business, including budgets and production goals.
Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
BSBA in accounting.
CPA certification required.
10+ years of experience in public accounting.
Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, and ProSystem fx Tax.
