Role Description This is a full-time role for an Audiologist. The Audiologist will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing issues, and providing appropriate treatment plans. The role also involves fitting, adjusting, and maintaining hearing aids, as well as educating patients on hearing loss prevention and hearing aid care. This is an on-site role located in Greater Boston.
Must have experience with electroacoustic measures, including Real Ear Measures. The audiologist will be required to work with multiple hearing aid manufacturers and be well versed with electroacoustic evaluations including Verifit real-ear measures. Previous dispensing experience desired
Qualifications Proficiency in conducting hearing assessments and diagnosing hearing issues Experience in fitting, adjusting, and maintaining hearing aids Skills in patient education on hearing loss prevention and hearing aid care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical environment Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or a related field State licensure and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent
