TransUnion is seeking an Advisor, Corporate Development to join the Global Corporate Development Team, a high-performing, dynamic group responsible for corporate development strategy and leading global M&A and investment activities. The Advisor will partner with Divisional and Regional Presidents to define the Corporate Development agenda that supports the Business Unit and Regional Strategy and lead all aspects of Corporate Development projects (e.g., strategic rationale, financial rationale, diligence, negotiation, etc.).

Note:

This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of two days per week in the assigned TU office location.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to complete due diligence and integration planning for strategic initiatives and/or M&A transactions.

Lead analysis, modeling and select deal components for domestic and global M&A transactions.

Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses, including returns analysis and sensitivities as guided by more senior team members.

Lead development of Basis of Interest documents for internal reviews and approvals of transactions.

Demonstrate business acumen beyond Corporate Development; pursue objectives, propose solutions, and influence key outcomes.

Support development of solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.

Develop presentations and potentially present to the C-Suite level.

Support the development of advanced program initiatives and guide their development into a final product or service with cross-functional impact.

Assist with formulation of acquisition target criteria and prioritization of target universe; maintain acquisition target pipeline.

Create content to support Corporate Development processes, including acquisition and strategic investment performance reporting, Monthly CEO reports, Board of Directors meetings, and competitive analysis briefs.

Support other efforts as determined by leadership in Global Strategy and Corporate Development.

Market Intelligence

Develop strategic insights from market assessments grounded in primary and secondary research; inform buy/build/partner market-entry and market-expansion options.

Monitor and assess key industry trends; partner with internal teams to draw conclusions and recommendations.

Research and analyze high-priority strategic markets, including industry mapping and deep-dives into targeted M&A and partnership opportunities.

Develop robust market sizing analyses with limited or ambiguous data.

BU Engagement

Communicate with expert-level detail on TransUnion's products, services, or internal information as necessary.

Interact with functional experts across TU's business units to ensure completion of assigned work streams.

Interact with senior management, business leaders, and external TransUnion clients and partners.

Understand the organization and implications of change for affected departments.

This is a hybrid role with in-person work at a TransUnion office location for a minimum of two days per week.

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,100.00 - $150,000.00 annually. The salary range is a reasonable estimate and may vary based on factors including education, experience, location, and market conditions. Regular, full-time non-sales positions may be eligible for TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Some positions may be eligible for long-term incentives and other compensation based on company guidance and plan documents.
