Managing Director - Professional Staffing Services at Quest Group Executive Search and Staffing Solutions Quest Group Executive Search is actively recruiting for a strong Senior Corporate Accountant who will play a key role in the company’s accounting and financial reporting processes. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience working in or with a publicly traded company. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing and reviewing critical components of the financial close process, preparing financial statements, supporting internal control initiatives, and mentoring junior accounting staff. Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Location: Tampa, FL Key Responsibilities

Participate in and manage aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and draft financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos and documentation on complex accounting issues. Review account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure completeness and proper accounting treatment. Support and maintain internal control procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Assist with training and developing accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting standards and best practices. Perform detailed GAAP accounting research as needed to support management decisions and ensure compliance. Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit process. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

CPA or CPA eligibility preferred . 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience , preferably in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm. Strong working knowledge of

U.S. GAAP

and internal control principles. Experience in financial statement preparation and close processes. Demonstrated ability to prepare and review technical accounting memos. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills required. Preferred Experience

Prior experience in Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firms. Previous experience in a publicly traded organization. Exposure to SOX compliance or SEC reporting processes. Experience in process improvement and system implementation projects. Seniority level
