Designer / Art Director, Device Brand Studio at Amazon As an Designer / Art Director at Device Brand Studio, you’ll lead the creative vision for campaign events across our device portfolio. You’ll drive concept development and oversee creative execution for high-impact seasonal campaigns, major product launches, and brand initiatives. You’ll collaborate with creative teams, product marketing managers, and senior leaders to deliver compelling digital campaigns that span Amazon.com.
Responsibilities
Blend strategic thinking with hands-on design; guide creative teams to develop visually impactful work across owned and operated channels, adapt style guides for each device brand, and ensure visual consistency while meeting deadlines.
Mentor the Costa Rica-based design production team to meet quality standards.
Work with project managers and creative directors to define timelines and lead the development of breakthrough creative concepts, translating complex ideas into memorable customer experiences.
Collaborate with engineers and creatives to explore how AI can streamline asset production and shape scalable, high-volume creative work.
Lead concept development and oversee creative execution for high-volume digital campaign events across the device portfolio.
Qualifications
5+ years of design and art direction experience with the ability to develop innovative creative work across high-volume digital campaigns
Available online portfolio
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) on macOS
Experience designing for mobile and desktop applications
Experience using Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Strong design and conceptual skills with the ability to guide, evaluate, and redirect when needed
Curiosity and passion for design with awareness of evolving tools, technologies, resources, and trends
Collaborates well with a team and communicates clearly; able to accept directional feedback and present ideas effectively
Deep knowledge of end-to-end campaign development, including staffing projects and providing timely feedback
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ecommerce, search, social, and other major application types and their UX patterns
Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touchpoints on different platforms
Experience with art directing and/or creating CGI environments
