Job Title
Production Tech (Inspector) – 3rd Shift
Summary Production Tech (Inspector) role to inspect gas turbine tubes, ducts, and manifolds at GE Aerospace Beavercreek Site. Operations include machining, fabrication, investment casting, repair, overhaul, and product engineering.
Responsibilities
Apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to solve practical problems.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Interpret service manuals, blueprints, and related documents.
Use standards shop measuring devices (calipers and micrometers).
Lift and exert 10–25 pounds frequently and 20–50 pounds occasionally.
May require mandatory/random drug testing.
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months experience in manufacturing and/or quality or aerospace environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding or ability to learn the use of measuring gauges such as manual calipers.
Compensation Wages $21.37 per hour based on experience plus $1.50 premium pay for 3rd shift.
Additional Information
Safety: Daily/monthly safety reviews; OSHA high safety rating; $125 voucher for safety shoes and prescription glasses.
Surroundings: Potential dust, fumes, or smoke from machining operations.

Activity: Work may involve standing for long periods, walking, or climbing stairs.
