Job Summary WCJB TV20 News seeks a talented and energetic meteorologist to join our award‑winning team. We are looking for a qualified meteorologist who can prepare and deliver weather forecasts and weather information on WCJB TV20 and across our digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Analyze weather data and prepare detailed forecasts
Prepare graphics for the weather presentation
Conversational on‑air/on‑camera presentation
Flexible schedule for severe weather scenarios
Post content and go live on our digital platforms
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in meteorology
Prior experience as a broadcast meteorologist (amount will vary depending on specific position)
Strong on‑air communication skills
Ability to work as part of an on‑air weather team and part of a news team
Ability to be creative with graphic design and presentation
