As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security‑related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols and respond promptly to various situations, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, utilizing appropriate communication and reporting protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help deter inappropriate behavior and to observe and report any irregularities.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help deter unauthorized access and to help maintain a secure environment.

Document and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and traffic flow within the healthcare environment as directed by site leadership.

Support staff, patients, and visitors by providing information, directions, and assistance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.

Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
