Job Description:

Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services has a great opportunity for a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Salem Outpatient Clinic. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:

Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments, and provide evidence-based treatment and counseling to patients, including those with substance use disorders.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate patient records and complete all required documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing forms, in a timely manner.

Collaboration:

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and coordinate patient treatment plans.

Supervision & Training:

Participate in regular clinical supervision with the Medical Director and assist in training new staff or trainees as needed.

Compliance:

Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant standards.

What You’ll Do

Conduct patient assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.

Develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on patient safety and harm reduction.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.

Meet productivity and billing standards.

Cover for team members’ vacations to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

Experience with a diverse patient population, including those with substance use disorders.

Strong collaborative and communication skills.

Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all regulatory standards.

Pay Range:

$145,600.00 USD - $185,120.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
